LUX is where my written work began: four hundred pages on connecting with what is genuinely yours — your own essence, your own authority, your own design — and on ending the habit of outsourcing all three to teachers, systems, and borrowed light.
I wrote it from inside the climb. The language is the climb’s language: energy, activation, practice. If you have read my later work you will recognize everything in LUX pointing, in earlier words, at the same fact — the source of your experience is inside, never outside — but pointing at it as something to reach, rather than something already the case.
That difference matters, and it is exactly why LUX still earns its place. Some readers cannot start at “there is nothing to do.” The busy mind hears it as one more thing to fail at. LUX gives that reader a path — practices, structure, a direction to walk — and the path is honest: every step of it aims you back at yourself, never at me, never at another system, never at anything outside you. It is dependency-ending by design, even while it still speaks the language of doing.
